Covalent Lithium Refinery Buried Gas Piping

Once operational, the Covalent Lithium Refinery will have the capacity to produce approximately 45,000 tonnes of battery quality lithium hydroxide per year.

Qetra’s scope of works included the fabrication of DN150 buried natural gas piping over an intensive 6 week schedule. Piping was fabricated, tested in accordance with ASME standards, blasted, painted and denso wrapped prior to dispatch to site. Works were completed at Qetra’s Wangara facility, using in house weld procedures and personnel, with a 100% pass rate for all works tested.

Following successful execution, Qetra was awarded further piping packages for the facility and provided coded welders to complete on site installation of the piping.
