Flying Fish NPI

Fortescue engaged Mallard Contracting to deliver the Non-Process Infrastructure Facilities within Eliwana mine. The Flying Fish Project comprises of multiple workshops, office areas, refuel and tyre change facilities, and a HV Washbay, all connected by an extensive piping network.

Qetra was engaged by Mallard Contracting as the principal contractor for the supply, fabrication and installation of over 4km of high-pressure piping. Following demonstrated achievement, Qetra’s scope was expanded to include the entirety of the structural, mechanical and piping scope on the project.

Qetra’s strong focus on rapid-response fabrication and robust logistics offered a high level of support, not only for Qetra’s experiencedworks but across all scopes on site. Similarly, the multi-disciplined labour allowed for agility and responsiveness in the face off the challenges encountered, while delivering the project with a strong focus on safety and quality.
