FMG Solomon Kings Fuel Farm

Orontide Engineering Services selected Qetra to assist with the delivery of the Solomon Fuel Farm for Fortescue Metals Group.

Qetra’s initial scope of works included the shop detailing, supply, fabrication, surface treatment and assembly of Fuel Pump Skid. Qetra fabricated all piping and structural steel in house at it’s Wangara facility, where the final skid was also assembled and underwent final inspection with the end user.

Working closely with the Orontide design and projects team, the works were successfully delivered under an aggressive schedule, despite industry pressures around material availability and COVID impacting works.

Following this, Qetra was awarded numerous structural and piping packages for the project and assisted with qualified and experienced personnel to complete construction works.
