Kwinana Upgrade Project

The Kwinana Upgrade Project was a large-scale production and storage upgrade at Cockburn Cement’s Kwinana Facility, targeting an additional 3600T of finished cement product capacity.

Qetra was initially engaged to assemble and construct the in-feed conveyor system. Following strong delivery, additional scopes were awarded, including the Silos, Piping and Ducting packages.

The scope required an experienced labour force to deliver well planned and executed heavy lifts. Mechanical and piping was completed diligently and to a high standard, including high-tech equipment for cement loading systems.

Qetra’s fabrication capabilities, and the availability of in-house quality assurance, both greatly reduced delays and expediated approval processes on site when fabrication, modification, or remediation works of principal supplied materials was required.
