At the Mardie Salt and Potash Project, an inexhaustible seawater resource will be concentrated through solar and wind evaporation to sustainably produce 5.35 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of high purity sodium chloride salt and 140,000 tonnes per annum of sulphate of potash fertiliser over an operating life of at least 60 years.
Qetra were engaged by BCI Minerals initially to complete off-site procurement, fabrication and assembly of the brine transfer pump stations. Leveraging off our vertically integrated model, Qetra were able to provide significant schedule savings, and as a result, contracted to complete the full SMPEI construction of the pump stations.
“The professional approach of the QETRA team, coupled with the valued support from suppliers and subcontractors ensured the seamless execution of this project.”
