Marvel Loch Gold Mine Conveyors

Qetra’s scope of work was for the detailed design, shop detailing, supply, fabrication and pre-assembly of conveyors for the Marvel Loch Gold Mine, located 30km south of Southern Cross.

Commencing at the front end engineering design stage, the project consisted of sizing and designing six conveyors for the Gold Mine. In house mechanical, structural and civil engineering saw the design completed efficiently, on time and within budget. Shop detailing was completed on and offshore and managed by Qetra.

Following the successful design works, Qetra was awarded the supply, fabrication and offsite pre-assembly contract. The works consisted of 18 trusses, 250 idler frames, 20 pulleys and associated other mechanical and electrical equipment.

The turnkey pre-assembly package was completed at Qetra’s Wangara facility, saving considerable site manhours and allowed for hassle free installation on site.
