Plant 4 Storage Tank 2

Qetra was awarded a key contract for the construction of a new 4.5 million litre carbon steel water storage tank at Busselton Water’s Plant 4 facility. The scope includes the installation and welding of floor plate, supply, lifting & installation of shell plates, roof cladding, all welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), as well as vacuum and holiday testing. Additionally, the project required stringent interior and exterior surface treatment and encapsulation.

Qetra’s experienced and quality led approach ensured all materials and inspections were maintained and erected in accordance with the
relevant standards.

The project required comprehensive stakeholder management as works were completed over a holiday period and adjacent to recreational accommodation. This was conducted with minimal disruption andpositive stakeholder feedback.
